On rare occasion I will make mention of a great resource that a town or website has. The Tech Museum of Innovation located at 201 South Market Street San Jose, CA 95113 (408) 294-TECH has a great exhibit where you can explore the technology available to geneticists and counselors. In addition it raises the awareness about the Ethical, Legal And Social Implications of genetics and ourselves.

Thanks for the compliment on the exhibit. I was hired by Stanford to help with content and The Tech collaborated with Kaiser genetic counselors to try to get the genetic testing part right. My pride and joy is the wetlab where vistors get to transform bacteria with a GFP containing plasmid. And see their glowing bacteria online the next day.
We also have a fun website called Understanding Genetics where we write about genetics news and answer people's genetics questions. All part of our Stanford at The Tech program.
I visited last year and have some pics up at Genetics and Health. Fun!
